So, we know about Zorua and Zoroark; and it's been established that 'Zoro' is spanish for fox and 'ark' short for dark. But the name got me thinking about Zoroastrianism. People have been wondering how the next legendary Pokémon can possibly trump Arceus, supreme creator of all things ever; and the answer is simple: it won't.
A common theme of some legendary Pokémon is of two conflicting polar opposites (Lugia/Ho-Oh, Darkrai/Cresselia, Groudon/Kyogre). The main theme of Zoroastrianism is of a supreme creator, Ahura Mazda; who is constantly being undermined by the destructive force, Angra Mainyu.
To put it simply, the next important legendary Pokémon will be the Devil.
